Rusty's Trail Blazing Chuck Wagon

Let Rusty take you back in time to the days of the great historic cattle drives. When both the cowboss and the cowboy depended on the camp cook to not only provide a hearty meal that would carry them through their work day, but also to the everyday needs of the health and welfare of the crew.

Educational and entertaining- young and old will be delighted to learn of the many uses of the chuck wagon.

Rusty demonstrates the everyday uses of the chuckwagon using a “hands-on” method drawing his audience into participation in creating some of the simple fare that kept the cowboys fed. This demonstration is accompanied by a complete oral history of the wagon and its many functions as a traveling kitchen – doctor’s office – country store – farrier –carpenter’s shop – and transport for the cowboy’s bedrolls and teepees.

Samples of "Cowboy Coffee and Chuck Wagon biscuits" while they last.
