Dancing

This year’s festival will feature many dancers. Fancy dancers spin in vibrant flashes of color. Jingles and bells send out notice that the dance has begun. Come and watch the best of the best from our local Indian Community as they perform ancient and relatively modern renditions of Native dance. See a Jingle dance, Fancy dance, Straight dance, Fancy Shawl, Women's Traditional Cloth and Northern Buckskin. To Dance is to Pray.

Singing

The heartbeat of the Earth and the Pow Wow resounds with the beat of the drum. Hear Northern, Southern and contemporary style. Native American drum groups inspire dancers to greater feats of athletic prowess and feel the rhythm in your blood. Listen to these Native musicians perform a versatile range of Native music from traditional songs in Native languages to contemporary social songs accompanied by hand drums and with English lyrics.
