Abby Parks
Visit Abby Parks' Website
Classically trained in guitar, Abby Parks began her musical
journey at age 12 when she received her first guitar as a
birthday gift from her parents. She took a liking to it
immediately, took some lessons, and then taught herself
classical guitar until she graduated high school. She also
grew up singing in school choirs and churches, and toured
with a six-part a cappella group called Profile while
attending Colorado Christian University in Colorado. About
this time she began to write her own songs, something she
had dreamed of doing since her childhood. Many of her songs
are

inspired by her personal
relationship with God. John Michael Talbot, a classical
guitarist and singer within the Christian community, was a
great inspiration to her and her chief motivation to learn
classical guitar. Since then, she has sung her own songs in
churches, at private parties, and music venues in order to
inspire and uplift.
Abby Parks showcases her songwriting talent on her debut
album MOVING ON, an interesting mix of folk, country, and
pop. Lyrics of love, loss, and hope are set to moving tracks
that embody her style--at times energetic and gritty, and at
others, soothing and reflective. All tracks are supported by
Abby’s classic guitar stamp--uniquely crafted finger-style
accompaniment or driving acoustic rhythm guitar. |

Furious Four

Furious Four Website
A feel good rap group of white boys who just want you dance
to the beat. The Furious Four first came together in August
of 2005 in hopes of making a simple four track rap/hip-hop
demo. From there things progressed into something completely
unexpected for a few kids from Guntersville, AL.
The boys created a Myspace page for their musical effort,
and news spread quickly with the quartet playing their first
concert only days after.

 |
Since then, F4 has played some exciting venues in and around
the Northern Alabama area. They've opened for such popular
acts as Dan Deacon & The Group Hug, and have twice
co-headlined shows with local favorite Viola.

Lorene Anderson
http://www.loreneandersonmusic.com
Lorene, a life long resident of Sand Mountain lives happily with a wonderful husband and four boys. Her first daughter is due in June. “ I am very passionate about certain issues as will be apparent in future releases, however, she reiterates with emphasis “it is my message and not my soul that’s on the market". Lorene recorded her first two songs not knowing what genre they belonged in. “Some may think me too ‘country’ for the Christian artist while others will see my style as too Christian for the ‘country’, she says laughing. “I intend to challenge the culture in any venues available to me. Lorene’s first CD about her papa and granny was first an idea for family, (a very large one) but then the decision was made to take it a little further and the songs were taken to the studio. To Lorene, her grandparents represented peace, contentment, stability and fun. To her father and many of her aunts, uncles and cousins, these songs struck a chord. She hopes they resonate with you as well.
