Farmers Market                

 

Guntersville’s newly renovated Farmers Market is one of the must do things for Saturday morning. On June 7th starting at 6:00 a.m. growers from around Marshall County will start displaying and offering for sale fresh garden produce, flowers, herbs, eggs and honey. Some of the growers will be certified organic and all will be local. As part of the Will Rogers Heritage Festival, a demonstration stage will be set up offering exciting how to talks on produce and flowers. A full schedule of events will be posted shortly.

 

Stroll through the market to examine the displays for your special purchases while enjoying a fresh brewed cup of select coffees and munch on fresh baked treats from Guntersville’s newest gourmet coffee shop…Percasso’s - The Art of Gourmet Coffee. Operated by Roger and Lynn Kress and located in downtown Guntersville.

 

The United Methodist Men will demonstrate how they prepare the delicious Boston Butts, Smoked Turkey and Baby Back Ribs for the Smoker. On the Grill they will show how to prepare and cook tomatoes, squash, corn, and any other fresh vegetables available at the Market. At 11:00A.M. They will start offering Sandwiches, Plates and Whole Butts & Turkeys for Sale.
