Walker Street Opry, a Huntsville-based bluegrass band, will open the live entertainment at the Will Rogers Heritage Festival with a free Friday night concert at the Civitan Park Amphitheater. The Walker Street Opry is comprised of guitarist and lead vocalist Rick Taylor, multi-instrumentalist Phil Easterbrook, lead guitarist Blaine Anderson, mandolinist Tony Robertson, and bassist Allan Sparkman. Taylor has appeared on CMT's Most Wanted and TNN's New Country. He toured with Grammy-winner Clair Lynch from the spring of 2003 to 2005, playing bass and singing harmony. Colorado native Easterbrook has been playing bluegrass festivals and concerts across the Rocky Mountain region and the west since 1978. Be sure to join us for this fun event to kick off our live entertainment.
